The United African Basketball League (UABL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to uniting and uplifting our community through youth advocacy, wellness, and cultural celebration. Basketball is our vehicle.
A FREE youth sport program that uses athletics as a vehicle to mentor youth with leadership and cultural competency. HRYZN stands for Helping Rising Youth Zone into Nobility.
Unlike traditional youth sports programs, UABL integrates sport training with critical life skills — mental wellness workshops, NIL/financial literacy education, S.T.E.A.M., and cybersecurity. Youth don't just learn how to play — they discover how the game is built.
Weekly sessions blending structured sport with leadership workshops, goal-setting, discipline, and transferable skills.
Schools contact us directly. Customized programming — afterschool, in-class modules, or extended camps.
Mindfulness tools to balance and succeed — on and off the court.
Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math — through the lens of sport and innovation.
Educating youth on financial management, NIL basics, and money tools for life.
Discipline, communication, character, and career-readiness on and off the field.
3 months of financial literacy & mentorship for 50 youth.
6 months of leadership workshops for 100 youth.
6 months full programming for 150 youth including sport, wellness & financial literacy.
Full year of UABL Youth Initiatives for 200 youth — basketball, wellness, leadership & cybersecurity.
Every dollar counts. Whether it's $10 or $1,000 — your contribution directly fuels HRYZN programming.
We're actively seeking schools, coaches, wellness professionals, and community organizations to join the HRYZN Initiative.
Bring HRYZN programming to your school. Afterschool, weekend intensives, or in-class modules — we meet youth where they are.
